In Italy, angels and cherubs – putti or putto – adorn surfaces everywhere; not just beautiful, they’re considered a sign of protection and peaceful intention.

This vintage hand-carved angel was hand-crafted from acacia wood and is a light ivory color.  Beautifully detailed and three-dimensional, the face is sweet with fine carving to the feathered hair, wings and collar.
