A charming vintage carving of an angel cradling a lamb.  Hand-carved acacia wood, deeply three-dimensional, ready to hang.

In Italy, angels and cherubs – putti or putto – adorn surfaces everywhere; not just beautiful, they’re considered a sign of protection and peaceful intention.

This vintage hand-carved angel with lamb was hand-crafted from acacia wood with natural gesso; her gown is brick red and her cloud is blue.  Beautifully detailed and three-dimensional, the face is sweet with fine carving to the wavy hair, wings and collar.

Particularly sweet in a child’s room.

Measures 11” in height, 9” in width.
