A 7.5” tall carved wooden batea hand-painted with an image of San Pasqual, Patron Saint of Cooks and Kitchens.

Bateas are hand-carved wooden “trough” bowls typically used throughout Mexico, South and Central America to knead dough and mix masa for tortillas. 

This small version of a batea has been transformed with hand-painted spiritual art featuring San Pasqual in his kitchen.

It measures roughly 7.5 inches in height, 3.5 inches in width.  Ready to hang, primary colors are black, blue, turquoise, green, brown and gold.
