Vintage Peruvian Retablo on Tin, Madonna with Child 26315

A striking vintage painting of the Madonna (Virgin Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe) cradling a baby Jesus on metal.  The painting is in the traditional “Cuzco School” style.

Vintage, this is a meticulously painted tin retablo (ex voto-style on metal) featuring a European-style Madonna with baby and surrounded by angels.  She is wearing traditional robe colors of deep red and green and other colors include cream, light blue gold, mustard and white.

This is a flat retablo that can be framed or, if you choose, hung on the wall using an adhesive back picture hanger.

Measures 8” in height, 6” in width.  Highly collectible and very beautiful.
