A wonderfully collectible 6 3/4” tall bronze bell from Cameroon with a handle design featuring an Ibis bird.   Vintage, circa 1970s.

Possibly Verre tribal in production and used in ceremonies, this cast bronze bell has a clear, sweet sound and a fabulous patina.  It features a rather traditional motif of an Ibis bird for the handle and the detailing of both the handle and the bell shape itself is exceptional. 

Measures 6 3/4” in height, 3” in width.  The clapper is intact.
