A 1.5” tall nickel silver pin or brooch in the shape of a thunderbird and with the Zia symbol incorporated into its design.  Navajo-crafted.

In Native American culture, the thunderbird symbolizes protection, strength and power and is the most powerful of all the Native spirits.  This pin represents not only that power but wears the Zia tribe symbol for the Zia sun and its meaning; the four seasons, the four elements, the four directions and the four stages of life.
