An 11.5” tall carved wooden batea hand-painted with colorful cactus varieties and a hummingbird.  Ready to hang.

Bateas are hand-carved wooden “trough” bowls typically used throughout Mexico, South and Central America to knead dough and mix masa for tortillas.

This secular (non religious) batea retablo has been transformed with hand-painted cactus, agave and a happy hummingbird.

It measures roughly 11.5 inches in height, 5.5 inches in width.  Ready to hang, primary colors are black, turquoise, green, yellow, orange, purple and white.
