A truly beautiful hand-carved saint Santo figure of St. Francis of Assisi, Patron Saint of Animals.

St. Francis of Assisi – Patron Saint of Animals - is beautifully depicted in this hand-carved wooden Santo. 

Hand-painted, he’s barefoot, wearing a traditional brown robe and carrying a colored bowl on which perches one of two (removable) birds; the other rests on his shoulder.

The robe features some additional hand-painted detailing in cream, coral and yellow and the face, hair and robe are detailed in both carving and painting.

This collectible Santo measures 8” in height.
