Eco-Friendly Tagua Nut and Acai Seed Necklace in Blues 27944

A beautiful – and eco-friendly – necklace made from sliced Tagua nut and acai seeds.  Strung on soft suede, each necklace is approximately 26” in length and is adjustable.  The dyed nut and seed colors are deep blue, cream and turquoise.

Both tagua nuts and acai seeds are renewable resources in Central America and the use of them as decorative items makes the trees more valuable for their produce than clear-cutting them for timber or farming.  Tagua nuts – sometimes known as ivory nut – resembles ivory when carved or sliced but, again, is a kinder material to wear and enjoy.
