A small, hand coiled and hand-painted jar-style olla from Acoma Pueblo in New Mexico.
1 7/8" tall and 2 1/4" at its widest, this small pot has a graceful design in terracotta and black over white. A lovely piece signed by the artist.
Acoma Pueblo is believed to be the oldest continually inhabited community in North America. Its location atop a 367-foot mesa bluff has earned it the name "Sky City" and Acoma pottery is prized by museums and collectors all over the globe.
